Meet The Therapist

"MAY YOUR HOPE BE FULL"™

My name is Tamara R. Jackson, I possess dual Master's degrees from Princeton Theological Seminary (MDiv.) and Rutgers University School of Social Work (MSW).  I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and an ordained minister of the Gospel. I also am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.  I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy (EMDR), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Level 1, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivation Interviewing (MI) and use a host of other modalities to tailor treatment to your needs. I am very comfortable dealing with issues of faith whether one is Christian or a Believer of a different faith. My goal is always to deliver care that demonstrates both cultural competence and cultural humility.

My experience enables me to offer trauma specialized mental health care that is effective, individualized, and holistic in nature. I offer services to individuals who are dealing with mental health or life challenges. These challenges include but are not limited to: depression, anxiety, PTSD,  spiritual and church hurt, and issues of abuse. My greatest hope is for you to grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
